· Project: VKIST, a joint project between Vietnam and KIST. Under guidance of Dr. Seongpil Jeong, we aim to secure clean water in the Mekong delta region, Vietnam.

· Research Goal: Modifying membrane to improve the efficiency of Air-Gap Membrane Distillation (AGMD)

- Modifying commercial membrane with photothermal materials, which will provide local heating on the surface of the membrane and maximize solar-to-heat conversion efficiency.

• Synthesizing inorganic nanoparticles and coating on membranes

• in-situ polymerization & patterning for the light-trapping structure with conjugated polymer
